Peter rushes into the practice for a midnight lambing and, after Julian's dog Emmy has an accident, he has to operate to remove her tooth. At the animal hospital, Poppy the cat requires complex surgery on her badly broken leg, with the team suspecting she's been hit by a car, while Peter, Julian and the Huddersfield vets meet up for a ramble on the moor with their dogs, where they encounter a very unusual cow and calf.
