Meanwhile, a young patient of Keri McGrath's is discovered to have had a recurrence of her cancer, while her parents argue because of their different views on religion. A woman comes into Darwin Ward with apparent appendicitis, that under surgery is found to be an infection caused by a swab left behind after a previous operation.
