As his Empire dwindled, Louis amused himself with scandalous love affairs, his own private brothel and bedded five sisters from the same aristocratic family. This is a florid and hugely enjoyable saga of sex, war, torture, gluttony, and some truly astonishing wigs.

Synopsis
